Key responsibilities • Taking clinical responsibility for your patients, including leading multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessment and management, Responsible Clinician duties, including Mental Health Act report writing and Tribunal attendance. • The development of a therapeutic milieu. • Provide expert psychiatric assessments and treatment for a diverse patient population. • Lead and manage patient care within your specialty, ensuring the highest standards of care. • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff. • Engaging with referring Trusts and community teams proactively. • Facilitating families’ involvement in the care of their loved ones using technology and your excellent interpersonal skills • Engage in clinical governance and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. • Participate in out of hours on-call rotations, ensuring continuous high-quality care. • Foster relationships with external stakeholders and maintain a network of professional contacts. • Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory standards. • Commit to ongoing professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.
