When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as an AI & Data Architect, you • Define target architectures and roadmaps across AI & Data platforms that are aligned with our customers' business, IT and security requirements • Translate between the worlds of engineering, business, IT and operations, making sure everyone ends up with the same picture • Guide customers in building AI-ready data foundations and governance, from data quality and access control to lineage • Own architecture decisions and make them traceable through ADRs, documented trade-offs, and the reasoning behind them • Put our partnerships with Microsoft and Databricks to work, weighing up for each customer which technology decision fits their case • Support pre-sales through technical discovery, solution design and effort estimation, and stay with the project from concept to implementation Who We Are Looking For • Strong experience designing and implementing modern Data & AI architectures, from the data foundation to the AI services and workflows built on it • Confidence in customer-facing situations - from technical discovery to explaining a difficult architecture decision to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Proven ability to build architectures that evolve, working hands-on and in close collaboration with engineering & operations teams • You have taken Data & AI solutions into production, not just into pilots - including governance, security, scalability, observability and lifecycle management • Up-to-date knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry or Databricks, gained through hands-on experience • Professional working proficiency in German and English, enabling you to confidently communicate with customers and project teams As a person, we believe you are a team player who takes actions and demonstrates responsibility to organize your work and solve your tasks.

You take ownership of architectural topics and feel comfortable guiding teams and customers through decision-making processes.
