ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT PRIVATE EQUITY CONSULTING (M/F/D)

In this role you support international private equity investors in commercial due diligence, strategy, and portfolio optimization. You will work on deals across sectors, develop the equity story, test investment hypotheses, and build market models while validating business plans. You will interact closely with clients and experts and contribute to internal initiatives such as university recruiting. The position offers rapid responsibility in a collaborative, international setting and a path to shape client outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Support and advise international private equity investors in commercial due diligence (buy- and sell-side), strategy (value appreciation, target screening, exit planning) and portfolio optimization
• Work on deals and transactions across various sectors with an international reference
• Collaborate with the team to develop the equity story, examine investment hypotheses, prepare market models, and validate the business plan
• Maintain direct contact with clients and experts
• Contribute to internal initiatives such as university recruiting and the bottom-up group

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Excellent master’s degree, ideally in Business Administration or related field
• Hands-on experience in private equity, corporate finance or consulting
• Analytical mindset, structured approach, strong business context understanding
• Team player with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
• Fluent in German and English; exposure to international environments
