Das ist der Job
Every single click, subscription renewal, and ad impression tells a story about how users interact with the product.
Darum lohnt es sich
Without this role, the product and marketing teams can’t rapidly iterate, run quasi‑experiments, or build the causal inference models needed to unlock the next stage of subscription revenue.
What success looks like • Month 1: Integrate with the product and marketing teams, audit data pipelines in BigQuery and tracking setups in Amplitude and AppsFlyer, identify tracking improvements. • Month 2–3: Take ownership of growth dashboards, launch the first batch of A/B tests and quasi‑experiments, establish a standardized attribution methodology. • By end of Q1: Build a reliable, end‑to‑end subscription analytics framework connecting first‑click marketing attribution to long‑term cohort retention.
Senior Growth Analyst (also known as: Growth Analyst · Product & Marketing Analytics Lead · Senior Product Growth Analyst · Growth & Marketing Analytics Manager · Business Intelligence Analyst · Senior BI Analyst · Business Intelligence & Growth Analyst · Data & Insights Analyst) About the company Our client is a fast‑growing consumer mobile app company with a subscription‑based productivity product used by millions of people worldwide.
They’re scaling quickly and need to move from tracking data to aggressively predicting and validating what drives growth. We’re looking for a Senior Growth Analyst in Berlin who will sit at the intersection of product and marketing to own the data loops that drive global growth.
Why this role matters The company is scaling fast, and it needs to move from tracking data to aggressively predicting and validating what drives growth. You’ll be the engine that turns raw user touchpoints into strategic, high‑impact product decisions.
What you’ll do You’ll own the entire growth‑loop analytics for the product, making sure every stage from first ad impression to long‑term subscription renewal is fully measurable. • Design robust event tracking structures and instrumentation across the entire user journey. • Build and maintain growth dashboards in Tableau or Looker for acquisition and retention performance. • Uncover growth opportunities by digging into funnels, user cohorts, and subscription metrics like churn and LTV. • Design and execute A/B tests, quasi‑experiments, and causal inference models to validate marketing and product hypotheses. • Deploy forecasting models using Python or R to predict long‑term subscription dynamics.
Who this is a fit for • 5+ years of analytics experience in B2C mobile apps or subscription SaaS. • Expert‑level SQL, with hands‑on experience in cloud data warehouses like BigQuery. • Fluent in Tableau, Looker, and Amplitude. • Experience with mobile marketing attribution (AppsFlyer, Adjust). • Proficient in Python or R for time‑series forecasting and causal inference. • Thrives on high autonomy and full ownership of outcomes.
What you get • A Berlin‑based role in a culture that prioritizes professional growth. • Massive autonomy to drive your own initiatives and experiments. This probably isn’t for you if you prefer waiting for assigned tasks, dislike making decisions without absolute certainty, or want a pure modeling role without touching event‑tracking design.
