Business Strategy Officer (f/m/d)

Deutsche Börse Group’s Investment Management Solutions (IMS) area comprises ISS STOXX and SimCorp, two global leading companies that empower investors, corporates and banks with corporate governance, ESG, index, market intelligence, and front‑to‑back investment management solutions. The strategy team serves as a competence center for strategy and business development for the IMS area within the overall Deutsche Börse Group strategic framework.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of Deutsche Börse’s long‑term global organic and M&A growth strategy for the IMS area.
• Support the implementation and coordination of projects with strategic relevance, including project sourcing, development and planning.
• Prepare strategic market analyses, decision proposals, and status reports for senior management and management meetings.
• Monitor and proactively improve strategy development and implementation processes.
• Support key strategic projects.

Qualifications

• University degree with excellent results.
• 2‑3 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy of an asset manager or M&A.
• Theoretical and first practical knowledge of capital markets relevance and functioning, and an understanding of business principles and processes.
• Focus on delivery with a results‑oriented and structured approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high degree of reliability and autonomy.
• High commitment and motivation.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of quantitative tools and methods (e.g. financial modelling, business plan analysis).
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal, and ability to communicate effectively across all seniority levels in English.
• Excellent command of MS Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
