Our clients are the underwriters (facultative, treaty, direct) and client managers at Munich Re as well as ceding companies.We are looking for an experienced consultant who is able to analyze and evaluate a variety of liability risks, including general liability for global corporations.Your JobAssessing complex liability risks, including guiding and supporting (as a sparring partner) the evaluation and management of these risks, depending on the cover provided (single risks, risk categories, or portfolios/treaties)Evaluating cedents’ risk-management activities (risk selection, pricing, risk assessment), also by participating in auditsScreening developments in the relevant fields of expertise to detect and report on interesting trends and emerging risks (internally and externally)Constantly improving, adapting and newly developing services in line with potentially changing client needs or a changing environment (technical, legal) in the respective field of expertiseSpeaking/presenting at international seminars, meetings, and congresses, conveying Munich Re’s distinct expertise, participating in or leading publications and workgroupsCarrying out site inspections or participating in meetings to develop recommendations for risk improvement or improved risk management (for cedents or insureds)Your ProfileUniversity degree in an engineering or natural science disciplineGood knowledge of general liability, (risk assessment, cover) with more than 5 years of work experience in the assessment of liability risksOutstanding analytical skills, ability to familiarize yourself with new topics quicklyAffinity for legal topics; good judgement and common senseBusiness-fluent English and German; additional languages are advantageousHigh degree of service orientation; pronounced intercultural skillsStrong social skills and ability to work in a teamClear, well-structured, and easily comprehensible communication, even on very complex topics; good presentation skillsWillingness to travelApplication InstructionsPlease apply through our online portal and upload your CV, as well as your academic reference letters, including school certificates, graduation certificates and transcripts of record for any degrees.
