Energy Efficiency Consultant - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Analyze energy consumption data to identify areas for improvement and potential savings.
• Develop and present customized energy efficiency recommendations and implementation plans.
• Research and evaluate new energy-saving technologies and best practices.
• Assist clients in implementing energy efficiency projects, including navigating incentives and rebates.
• Prepare comprehensive reports documenting audit findings and proposed solutions.
• Monitor the performance of implemented energy efficiency measures.
• Engage with clients to build strong relationships and understand their energy needs.
• Stay current with energy efficiency standards, regulations, and market trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy auditing, energy management, or energy efficiency consulting.
• Proven track record of identifying and quantifying energy savings opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial processes, and energy-efficient technologies (HVAC, lighting, motors, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus) is a plus.
• Strong client-facing and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CEM
• Certified Energy Manager) are highly desirable.
