You will experience a high performance/high reward culture that challenges and rewards your resilience. As a member of McKinsey’s Operations Practice, you will help clients solve complex operational challenges by blending strategic thinking with hands‑on practicality.

Your role will focus on procurement and supply‑chain expertise, including global sourcing, e‑procurement, supplier development, and purchasing organization formation.

Your Impact You will play an active role in problem‑solving for clients, including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.

You’ll work with colleagues and clients from a wide range of business areas across Europe to develop purchasing strategies that support clients’ business objectives and give them a competitive edge. You will be based in one of our European offices as part of the Operations Practice.

Qualifications and Skills • Master’s degree and exceptional academics. • Broad experience in strategic purchasing and/or supply management (e.g., global sourcing strategies, cross‑functional category management, RfQ processes and negotiations, talent development). • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities. • Mobility and enthusiasm for taking on European assignments during the work week. • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills. • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and the local office language.
