Location: Berlin (Hybrid) Salary: €90-€105k bonus Information Security Consultant (Governance, Risk & Compliance) | Berlin / Hybrid Recann is supporting a leading international IT consulting and managed services provider, partnering with enterprise and public sector organizations to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative technology solutions.

What you'll be doing • Advise clients on information security, governance, and data protection • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) • Conduct information security and compliance gap assessments • Develop security policies, standards, and governance frameworks • Perform stakeholder analysis and define security requirements • Coordinate and monitor information security initiatives and improvement measures • Support clients with risk management and business continuity planning • Review and enhance security concepts, emergency plans, and security processes • Deliver security awareness and training sessions • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on information security and regulatory requirements What we're looking for • Experience in Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), or Information Security Management • Strong understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) • Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ITIL, and GDPR • Experience developing security policies, governance frameworks, and risk management processes • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Previous consulting or client‑facing experience Nice to have • Experience with NIS2, KRITIS, DORA, or other regulatory compliance frameworks • Knowledge of operational resilience and business continuity • Prince2 or other project management certifications • Fluent German and good English language skills What's on offer • Hybrid working in Berlin • Flexible working arrangements and a healthy work‑life balance • Ongoing training and professional development • The opportunity to work on high‑impact security and compliance projects across multiple industries • A collaborative environment with excellent career growth opportunities • Comprehensive benefits package, including pension contributions, wellness benefits, corporate discounts, and regular team events As their consultancy practice continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Information Security Consultant to support customers in strengthening their security governance and regulatory compliance.
