IT Consultant - Oracle, PL/SQL - Zurich, Switzerland Role – Senior Consultant Technology – Unix, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Autosys, ITIL Location – Zurich Compensation – Competitive (including bonus) Your role As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.

You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will help detail the project scope and help shape value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Own and lead complex incident, problem, and release activities for Instrument and Client Reference Data applications. Break down complex, cross‑system problems into manageable components, evaluate solutions, and drive optimal resolution across business, operations, and technology stakeholders.

Build cause‑effect linkages using synthesized information, identify patterns in recurring data and process issues, and develop long‑term sustainable fixes. Formulate and test hypotheses to address recurring and strategic issues in reference data flows, golden sources, and downstream consumption.

Perform and oversee the full spectrum of production support responsibilities in line with ITIL processes. Anticipate customer needs, continuously analyze and improve systems, processes, and services, and resolve tough issues to build confidence as a trusted advisor.

Integrate client feedback into solutions and ensure delivery as per commitments and service‑level expectations. Prioritize and coordinate activities across multiple applications and projects, using historical data and metrics to plan proactively and manage contingencies.

Identify key execution drivers and constraints, and develop integrated plans and backup strategies for potential risks. Use advanced knowledge‑management, problem‑management, and release‑management methods to detect and fix issues and plan releases.

Apply in‑depth analysis, solution evaluation methods, and process mapping tools to assess the impact of problems on client business and track process performance. Contribute to and/or lead continuous improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and best‑practice adoption within the support function.
