About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and proactive Remote Agronomist to provide expert crop consulting services. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your agricultural expertise from anywhere. You will work closely with farmers, utilizing digital tools and remote sensing technologies to diagnose crop issues, recommend effective management strategies, and optimize yields. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote agronomic advice and technical support to farmers on crop health, soil management, and nutrient application.
• Analyze data from soil tests, satellite imagery, and weather stations to make informed recommendations.
• Develop tailored crop management plans for diverse agricultural operations.
• Identify and diagnose crop diseases, pest infestations, and nutrient deficiencies through remote assessment.
• Educate clients on best practices for sustainable farming and integrated pest management.
• Maintain detailed records of consultations, recommendations, and client progress using digital platforms.

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in agronomy or crop science, preferably with remote client interaction.
• Strong knowledge of crop physiology, soil science, and integrated pest management.
• Proficiency with digital tools, remote sensing platforms, and agricultural software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport virtually.
• Self-motivated and able to manage workload effectively in a remote work environment.
