About the Role

Our client is expanding its remote mental health services and is seeking a qualified Remote Child Psychologist and Behavioral Consultant to join their team, serving families in and around Pretoria . This role focuses on providing remote psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and behavioral guidance for children and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. You will leverage technology to connect with clients, offering a safe and confidential space for support and growth, making mental healthcare more accessible across the Gauteng province. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms.
• Offer behavioral consultations and support to parents and caregivers to address challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with remote pediatricians, educators, and other specialists involved in the child's care.
• Stay current with research and best practices in child psychology and remote therapeutic delivery.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in child psychology.
• Licensed to practice psychology in South Africa, with eligibility to practice remotely.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral disorders.
• Proven expertise in conducting remote psychological assessments and therapy.
• Excellent understanding of child development and psychopathology.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality.
