Role Principal Consultant/ SAP iPLM Consultant Technology PLM Location Germany Key Responsibilities • Analyze fit–gap against the global PLM template; document localization needs, country‑specific legal/quality requirements, and operational constraints. • Drive template adoption while proposing controlled deviations backed by business case and impact analysis. • Create/extend org structure: warehouse numbers, storage types/sections/bins, activity areas, queues, work centers, resources. • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (MM/SD/PP/QM/TM/MDG/Basis/Security) and release management for transport sequencing. • Configure PLM per template; produce FS/Config RDs, WRICEF specs (forms, labels, RF screens, enhancements, PPF actions, BAdIs like /SCWM/EX_*). • Prepare test scenarios, traceability, and lead SIT/UAT with defect triage; ensure performance and volume test readiness. • Define cutover plan: master data loads, stock upload, open orders, bin creation, wave queues, mock runs with rehearsal checklists. • Execute data migration (LSMW/BDC/standard APIs): products, BOM’s, Documents, Change Masters etc. • Provide go‑live support & hypercare. • Create training content (SOPs, RF job aids), conduct end‑user training & key‑user enablement. • Drive continuous improvements post‑rollout; document lessons learned and backlog.

Skills • Strong knowledge of Business Processes for PP, MM etc. • Conduct business analysis to improve PLM and innovation processes. • Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP solutions. • Design and optimize master data architecture, including Material, BOM, Document Information Record, and Serial Number etc. • Ensure smooth integration of PLM and ERP systems. • Lead the implementation, testing, and rollout of SAP‑based applications. • Stay informed on SAP S/4 innovations and recommend best practices.
