We are supporting a manufacturing organisation in the Greater Zurich area in the search for a Senior SAP MDG Consultant to join their internal SAP team on a permanent basis. Location: Greater Zurich Area (relocation required, hybrid working within Switzerland possible). Employment Type: Permanent. Language: German / English mandatory.

Start: ASAP or by agreement. In this role, you will take ownership of SAP Master Data Governance topics and contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global master data processes across the organisation.

This is a key position within the SAP landscape, with strong visibility and close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of SAP MDG within the enterprise SAP landscape. Design, implement, and enhance master data governance processes (Material, Supplier, Customer, etc.).

Define and maintain data governance frameworks and data quality standards in collaboration with business stakeholders. Support integration between SAP and non‑SAP systems in a complex IT landscape. Lead workshops and contribute to solution design and system configuration activities.

Ensure alignment with global best practices in master data management and governance. Act as a key interface between IT and business for all MDG‑related topics. Drive continuous improvement of master data processes and system capabilities. Profile Requirements Several years of hands‑on experience with SAP MDG (Senior level required).

Proven experience in SAP implementation and/or transformation projects. Strong understanding of master data processes and governance frameworks. Experience in manufacturing or complex industrial environments is a strong advantage. Ability to work independently and take ownership in complex SAP landscapes.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Fluent English required. German is a strong nice to have (not mandatory but highly beneficial). Additional Information Permanent in‑house role (no consulting contract). Relocation to Switzerland required (Greater Zurich Area).
