Senior Business Central Consultant (human)

BC Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Metzingen, Germany Responsibilities • Consulting, solution‑oriented design, and optimization of business processes in Business Central across all relevant modules • Support for international rollouts and multi‑company setups, including localisation and country‑specific requirements • Perform fit‑gap analyses and derive functional and technical requirements for implementations, rollouts, and system enhancements • Configure and customise Business Central, including workflows, roles, function settings, document layouts, and extension logic • Provide 2nd/3rd level support for complex issues • Create solution concepts and specifications for further developments, and collaborate with internal and external BC developers • Plan and conduct workshops with specialist departments, key users, and management to record processes and define solutions • Support data migrations, define migration rules, and perform test imports • Conduct and manage tests, document test cases, and support specialist departments until acceptance • Support go‑lives, including cutover planning, hypercare, and stabilisation of the solution • Create documentation, training materials, and training courses for users, key users, and support teams • Work closely with the ERP team, BC support specialists, business analysts, and external implementation partners to ensure a high‑performance BC system landscape Qualifications • Several years of experience as a BC consultant (in‑house or partner) • Very good knowledge of BC standard and processes in an industrial/manufacturing environment • Experience with extensions, interfaces, and updates • Ability to design pragmatic solutions • Hands‑on mentality, not purely a consulting role • Confidence in dealing with MSPs and specialist departments • Good written and spoken German and English skills Benefits • Dynamic, self‑reliant work culture with flat hierarchies, flexible hours, and 30 vacation days • Competitive salary package along with exclusive employee discounts • Support for personal and professional development • Opportunity to work with an international team striving for innovation in robotics • Collaborative environment emphasising teamwork and transparency
