We are now looking for an experienced technical consultant with deep hands-on knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and adjacent Adobe Experience Platform capabilities to join our award-winning team.

Life as a Marketing Automation Consultant at Accrease As a Marketing Automation Consultant (Technical), you will work closely with client IT teams, data engineers, and developers to design and implement AJO solutions that are technically solid and scalable.

Your day-to-day work will revolve around: Implementing and configuring customer journeys and campaigns in Adobe Journey Optimizer Designing technical solution architectures for marketing automation use cases Building data integrations between AJO, Adobe Experience Platform, CRMs, and external systems Writing and maintaining custom code for templates, APIs, and data transformations (HTML, JavaScript, SQL) Collaborating with client IT and data teams to ensure correct data flows and event triggers Supporting technical troubleshooting, QA, and post-go-live stabilization Key responsibilities Technical solution design & implementation: Design and implement scalable AJO solutions: journey configuration, campaign setup, decision management, and personalization logic.

If that sounds like you, a role as Senior Marketing Automation Consultant (Adobe Journey Optimizer – Technical) at Accrease might be the perfect next step for you.

This role is very much about technical delivery: designing and implementing scalable solutions, integrating data sources, configuring AJO to work exactly as it should, and ensuring what gets built is reliable, maintainable, and fit for purpose.

You don't need to be the most business-facing person in the room, but you do need to communicate clearly enough to gather requirements, push back when needed, and explain your solutions to stakeholders who aren't technical.

You will act as the technical anchor on projects, owning the solution design, doing hands-on configuration, and ensuring integrations work as expected. Data integration & architecture : Build and maintain integrations between AJO, Adobe Experience Platform, CRMs, CDPs, and other data sources using APIs, event streams, and datasets.

Custom development: Develop custom content templates, scripting logic, and API-based integrations using HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and XML. QA, testing & stabilization: Own technical testing, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support to ensure stable and performant marketing automation solutions.

You are comfortable in the code, the configuration, and the data, but also able to communicate clearly with the business.

We expect that you: Solid hands-on experience implementing Adobe Journey Optimizer in client-facing or consulting environments Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for custom development and integrations Experience with API integrations and data pipeline work between marketing platforms and source systems Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Platform, including schemas, datasets, segments, and event streams Ability to own technical delivery end-to-end, from solution design through to testing and go-live Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders It's a strong plus if you: Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Journey Optimizer or Adobe Campaign Experience with Adobe Campaign Classic or Standard Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and CDPs Exposure to web personalization or A/B testing tools within the Adobe stack Knowledge of marketing technology trends and data privacy regulations We are nice people – and we know our sh*t Accrease is a recognized and award-winning consultancy with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo.
