SAP FICO Consultant – Global S/4HANA Transformation Location: Europe – Hybrid Contract: 12 months initially, with extensions expected Project: Global SAP S/4HANA Transformation Industry: Medical / Healthcare / Life Sciences Engagement: Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join a major global SAP S/4HANA transformation programme for a leading medical company headquartered in Germany. The consultant will be part of a global Finance transformation team responsible for the design, implementation and rollout of a harmonised SAP S/4HANA Finance template across multiple countries and legal entities. What You'll Be Doing Act as a senior SAP Finance functional consultant within the global S/4HANA programme. Lead and participate in Finance design workshops with business stakeholders.

Analyse current Finance processes and identify opportunities for harmonisation and standardisation. Translate business requirements into scalable S/4HANA Finance solutions. Contribute to the design and evolution of the global Finance template. Support configuration and functional design across SAP FI and CO. Work with local Finance teams to understand country-specific requirements. Support localisation and country rollout activities. Produce functional specifications and work closely with SAP technical teams. Support integrations with other SAP modules and external systems. Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect resolution. Support data migration, reconciliation, cutover and go-live activities. Provide functional leadership during deployment and hypercare. Work closely with the wider SAP programme, including Treasury, Procurement, Supply Chain and Sales workstreams.

Core SAP FICO Experience Strong experience across SAP Finance, ideally within S/4HANA: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Asset Accounting Bank Accounting Intercompany Accounting Foreign Currency Valuation Financial Close Accruals and provisions Tax and VAT Cost Centre Accounting Profit Centre Accounting Internal Orders Product Costing Profitability Analysis / Margin Analysis Allocations Planning and reporting Strong understanding of the S/4HANA Universal Journal and integration between FI and CO is required.
