• Work on project teams that provide technical consulting and advisory services to power project developers
• Support utility‑scale solar, wind, gas, battery energy storage projects
• Provide independent engineering and due diligence services for lenders and investors
• Conduct technical, economic, and market studies for grid operators, utilities, and research agencies
• Develop planning studies and business cases for utilities, independent power producers, and government agencies
• Engage in face‑to‑face interaction with power plant developers and owners, as well as lenders and investors
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering (other engineering disciplines may be considered)
• 15 or more years of experience in the power industry
• Design of utility‑scale solar, wind, and/or battery energy storage projects
• Independent engineering and due diligence services for power projects
• Power project development
• Solar, wind, and/or battery energy storage construction management
• Experience in project finance or financial modeling of power projects is a plus
• Experience with owner’s engineering activities during power project execution is a plus
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Experience writing technical reports and proposals
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others
• Project planning and leadership skills
