Role Principal Consultant/ SAP iPLM Consultant Technology PLM Location Germany Job Description We are looking for an SAP PLM Functional Consultant to lead and execute an iPLM rollout to new warehouses/plants based on an existing global template.

Key Responsibilities Analyze fit–gap against the global PLM template; document localization needs, country‑specific legal/quality requirements, and operational constraints. Create/extend org structure: warehouse numbers, storage types/sections/bins, activity areas, queues, work centers, resources.

Configure PLM per template; produce FS/Config RDs, WRICEF specs (forms, labels, RF screens, enhancements, PPF actions, BAdIs like /SCWM/EX_*). Prepare test scenarios, traceability, and lead SIT/UAT with defect triage; ensure performance and volume test readiness.

Define cutover plan: master data loads, stock upload, open orders, bin creation, wave queues, mock runs with rehearsal checklists. Execute data migration (LSMW/BDC/standard APIs): products, BOM’s, Documents, Change Masters, etc. Provide go‑live support & hypercare.

Create training content (SOPs, RF job aids), conduct end‑user training & key‑user enablement. Drive continuous improvements post‑rollout; document lessons learned and backlog. Skills Strong knowledge of Business Processes for PP, MM etc. Conduct business analysis to improve PLM and innovation processes.

Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP solutions. Design and optimize master data architecture, including Material, BOM, Document Information Record, and Serial Number. Ensure smooth integration of PLM and ERP systems. Lead the implementation, testing, and rollout of SAP‑based applications.
