Account growth and expansion: Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure existing customers are maximising their usage of Pactum, while identifying and developing new opportunities within and beyond current accounts.
Feed insights from the field back to Pactum's Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to shape what we build and how we sell it. Team bonding. Pactum is looking for a procurement‑deep, commercially minded Solutions Consultant to help shape how we sell and what we build across the German market.
This role sits at the intersection of customer advisory, solution selling, and procurement expertise — ideal for someone who understands how large enterprises source and negotiate, knows how to earn executive trust, and can translate complex customer challenges into compelling cases for change.
You will act as a trusted advisor to some of the world's largest organisations, demonstrate how Pactum creates tangible value, and feed what you learn in the field back into our product and go‑to‑market. This is a founding role in the German market, with meaningful influence over how Pactum sells and scales across the region.
What You'll Be Doing Customer engagement and trusted advisory: Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients across Germany and the broader DACH region.
Earn trust with senior procurement and finance stakeholders by developing a deep understanding of their processes, problems, and people – and become the advisor they turn to when they want to think differently about how they negotiate.
Procurement expertise and discovery: Develop a thorough understanding of clients' sourcing and procurement strategies, including category management and end‑to‑end procurement process optimisation. Lead workshops and discovery sessions that surface the right pain points and map them to Pactum's capabilities.
Solution demonstration and value selling: Demonstrate how Pactum creates tangible value for customers and partners. Build and deliver compelling narratives that connect our capabilities to real business outcomes – quickly and convincingly, in front of senior audiences.
Business case development: Construct rigorous, persuasive business cases that make the best use of Pactum's core competencies. Help customers and stakeholders understand not just what Pactum does, but why it matters for them specifically. Product and sales shaping: Act as an internal champion for customer needs.
What We Think It Takes to Succeed Based in Germany, with fluency in German (written and spoken) required; French proficiency is a plus. 5+ years in procurement consulting or a solutions consulting role with deep procurement expertise, working with large enterprise organisations.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, category management, and supplier relationship management. Familiarity with enterprise procurement technology platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle.
A compelling presenter – you can craft and deliver a persuasive narrative under time pressure and in front of senior audiences.
